Webflow Site Plans: The Foundation

Starter Plan: Free
The Starter plan costs nothing. Zero. You get a webflow.io subdomain, 2 pages, 50 CMS items, 50 form submissions for the lifetime of the project, and 1GB of bandwidth.
Who this is for: students learning Webflow, developers testing a concept, or anyone who wants to experiment before committing money. This is not a plan you launch a real business on. The webflow.io domain alone signals "this is not a real website" to visitors.
The Starter plan limits you to 50 form submissions total, not per month. Once those are gone, forms stop working unless you upgrade. If you are building anything that collects leads, skip this plan.
Basic Plan: $14/month
The Basic plan is Webflow's entry point for real websites. You get a custom domain, 150 pages, unlimited form submissions, and 10GB of bandwidth. There is no CMS functionality on this plan.
Who this is for: simple brochure sites, personal portfolios, and landing pages that do not need a blog or dynamic content. If you have a five-page website with a contact form and nothing else, this is your plan.
The catch: no CMS means no blog, no team member pages, no portfolio collections, no dynamic content of any kind. Every page is static and hand-built. For most businesses, this is a dealbreaker.
CMS Plan: $23/month
This is where Webflow starts making sense for real businesses. The CMS plan gives you a custom domain, 150 pages, 2,000 CMS items across 20 collections, unlimited form submissions, 50GB of bandwidth, and site search.
Who this is for: small to mid-sized businesses that need a blog, a portfolio, a team page, or any other dynamic content. This is the plan we recommend most often to clients because it hits the sweet spot between capability and cost.
The CMS plan is where most small businesses should start. You get 2,000 CMS items, which is enough for years of blog posts, portfolio pieces, and team listings. Most of our clients never outgrow this plan.
Business Plan: $39/month
The Business plan is designed for larger sites with serious content operations. You get a custom domain, 300 pages, up to 20,000 CMS items across 40 collections, unlimited form submissions, up to 2.5TB of bandwidth, and form file uploads.
Who this is for: content-heavy businesses, directory sites, real estate listings, job boards, or any project that pushes past 2,000 CMS items. The jump from 150 to 300 pages and from 20 to 40 collections makes this the plan for complex sites.
The bandwidth upgrade is significant. Going from 50GB to 2.5TB means this plan can handle serious traffic spikes without issues. If you are running paid advertising or expect viral content, this headroom matters.
Enterprise Plan: Contact Sales
Enterprise is Webflow's white-glove tier. Pricing is custom and based on your specific needs. You get everything in Business plus advanced security, SLAs, dedicated support, and custom solutions.
Who this is for: large organizations with compliance requirements, custom integration needs, or traffic volumes that exceed what the Business plan can handle. Most small and mid-sized businesses never need this.
Webflow Ecommerce Plans: Selling Online
If you are selling physical or digital products through your Webflow site, you need an ecommerce plan instead of (or in addition to) a site plan. These plans include everything from the site plans plus the commerce engine.
Standard Ecommerce: $29/month
The entry-level commerce plan gives you 500 ecommerce items, 2,000 CMS items, and charges a 2% transaction fee on top of your payment processor's fees.
That 2% fee adds up fast. On $10,000 in monthly sales, you are paying $200/month to Webflow in transaction fees alone, plus the $29 plan cost. That is $229/month before payment processing fees.
The 2% transaction fee on the Standard ecommerce plan is a hidden cost that catches people off guard. If you are doing more than a few thousand dollars in monthly sales, the Plus plan pays for itself by eliminating that fee.
Plus Ecommerce: $74/month
The Plus plan jumps to 5,000 ecommerce items, 10,000 CMS items, and drops the transaction fee to 0%. This is the breakeven plan. If your store does more than roughly $2,250/month in sales, the Plus plan costs less than Standard after you factor in the transaction fee savings.

Anything above $2,250/month in sales and Plus is cheaper. Most stores hit that threshold within a few months of launching.
Advanced Ecommerce: $212/month
The top-tier commerce plan gives you 15,000 ecommerce items, 10,000 CMS items, and 0% transaction fees. This is for established stores with large catalogs that need the full inventory capacity.
Who this is for: stores with thousands of products, multiple product variants, or complex catalog structures. If you have 500 products with 5 variants each, you need 2,500 item slots. The Standard plan cannot handle that.
Webflow Add-Ons: Where Costs Sneak Up
Webflow has been expanding its add-on ecosystem. These are optional, but some of them are essential for certain use cases.

Our take: just use Google Analytics 4. It is free, more powerful, and industry standard. We rarely recommend this add-on to clients.
Localization Essential: $9/month
Supports up to 3 additional locales for multilingual sites. This means you can have your site in English plus two other languages.
Localization Advanced: $29/month
Supports up to 10 additional locales. For businesses that operate in multiple countries or regions with different language requirements.
Our take: if you need multilingual support, these add-ons are reasonably priced compared to third-party translation management systems. The Essential plan at $9/month covers most North American businesses that need English and Spanish.

The plan price is only one piece of the total cost. Here is what else you will spend money on.
Domain Registration: $10-50/year
Webflow does not include a domain. You need to buy one separately. A .com runs about $10-15/year through registrars like Namecheap, Cloudflare, or Google Domains.
